Food is fuel and we all need that fuel to be able to dance it out! So, we are sharing some of our favorite quick things to eat before hitting the studio! One snack option is a banana. Bananas are a perfect pre-sweat food because they contain simple carbs and are able to be digested quickly to provide fast energy, as well as, a bunch of potassium and vitamin C! Another great option is a granola bar. This is something you can always keep in your bag or car so it's a super easy and quick pick me up! We suggest opting for a granola bar that doesn't contain high sugar. Our favorite brand is Cascadian Farm Organic Granola Bars.

If you have a few hours until class, we suggest you eat something a little more balanced before heading to your class. If you still need something quick and easy, a smoothie is an awesome option. Start with a carb source for that quick releasing energy, such as a banana or berries. Then, throw in some protein powder for sustained energy and to prevent your muscles from breaking down too quickly. Lastly, a source of healthy fat will keep you fuller for longer and gives you more endurance during your workout; peanut butter, coconut oil, or avocado are all perfect options.

This Saturday, June 2nd, 2018, we paired up with Pink Narcissus for a colorful and vibrant event. Inviting all of these lovely ladies to wear their favorite Lilly luxletic or brightest workout gear. 

Our wonderful new Drop Master, Stephanie, led everyone in one of our high energy, dance cardio Happy Hour classes . We even raffled off a week of FREE unlimited classes and Pink Narcissus raffled off a FREE Lilly Pulitzer luxletic outfit! We wrapped up the event with some tasty treats and champagne. Then, everyone went home with a goodie bag with coupons, stickers, and more!
